Picnic Area at Lake Thomalex
Does anyone have any info on what you need to do to reserve the picnic area (near the playground)? i am wanting to have a group of 25-30 people in May - but was not sure how to reserve this area. Any information or ideas of who to contact for this info would be greatly appreciated!

Contact the Parks and Rec. Dept. in the City of Lexington. If you're a county resident, I think it's $25 to reserve. If you're a city resident, I think it's free. I reserved a shelter about three years ago so it's hard to remember!
ReplyDeleteYou have to go to the bait shop to reserve it and it's $25 for 3 hours. Here is the number (336) 731-6052.
